About the U.S. Talent Immigration Program

EB1A Exceptional Talent

The first category in the first preference category of the US professional immigration program is designed for top talent. Applicants only need to demonstrate that they have outstanding achievements in their field. There are no rigid requirements for age, education, language, etc., and more emphasis is placed on personal achievements and influence. Can be filed independently without the assistance of an employer, expedited processing, short wait times, and no labor certification required.

NIW National Interest Waiver

NIW National Interest Waiver (NIW) is a special case of the second preference (EB-2) category of the employment-based immigration program in the United States. Unlike a regular EB-2, an NIW allows applicants to apply for a green card without an employer sponsorship and labor certification (PERM), as long as they can demonstrate that their work has made a substantial contribution to the national interests of the United States.

Application Requirements

  • Higher Education: Master's degree or higher; or bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of relevant professional work experience
  • Special Skills: Meet at least 3 of the 6 criteria (license, association membership, academic credentials, etc.)

Advantages of the application

  • No employer sponsorship or labor certification required
  • No strict language or age requirements
  • More quotas, relatively short wait times

EB1B Professor/Researcher

Primarily for professors and researchers with high reputation in the international academic community. They must have made significant contributions and influences in the field of scientific research and academic research, and be recommended by their organizations or institutions.

EB2 High-Skilled Talent

For professionals with a master's degree or higher or a bachelor's degree plus five years of work experience, employer sponsorship is required, and the application conditions are relatively clear and direct.

EB1C Multinational Executives

Provides a fast-track immigration pathway for applicants who have been working as executives in multinational companies for more than one year. Applicants must have a high position and decision-making power in the company, and the company itself must be of a certain size and strength.
